Please ensure that you completely understand our vaccination policy and are happy to comply with it. We are unable to accept your pet if you are unable to provide sufficient proof of their vaccinations - the last thing we want is to have to turn customers away and cause any inconvenience so please ensure that you are prepared.

Dogs

All dogs must be up to date with the following vaccinations:

DHPPi (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and parainfluenza) - this should be part of your puppy's first set of vaccinations and is then administered up to every three years thereafter. Common brands of this vaccine will be labelled in your dog's vaccination card as 'Nobivac DHP', 'Veriscan Plus DHPPi' or 'Canigen DHP'.

Lepto2 or Lepto 4 (leptospirosis) - we prefer the Lepto4 vaccination as it covers four strains of the virus instead of two, but we will accept your dog with either. This should be part of your puppy's first set of vaccinations and is subsequently administered every year.

Kennel Cough - we do not accept any dog's that are not up to date with the kennel cough vaccine. This needs to be administered at least two weeks before your dog arrives, and they cannot come in during this two week period. This is because it is a live vaccine and they can affectively pass on the virus to other dogs during this time. The vaccine needs to be readministered every year. It will usually be marked in your vaccination card as 'Nobivac KC', 'Canigen KC', 'Bronchishield' or 'Veriscan Plus BB Oral'.

Cats

All cats must be up to date with the following vaccinations:

FeLV (feline leukaemia virus) - your cat will need to be vaccinated even if they are a house cat and they don't go outside.

Tricat Trio (feline calicivirus, feline herpesvirus and feline panleukopenia)

Rabbits

All rabbits must be vaccinated against myxomatosis, R(V)HD1 and R(V)HD2.

You will need to bring your pet's vaccination card with you each time you bring them to board with us. Please note that no vaccines are 100% effective at preventing infections and you will need to sign to accept these terms. Whilst every effort is taken to ensure the safety of your pet, we are not liable for any pets that become infected with any of the above viruses during their stay with us. All pets at our facility are vaccinated and our entire premises is cleaned with Anigene multiple times throughout the day.
